Rebecca Bickerton

Rebecca Bickerton, a graduate of Belleisle Regional High School was presented with the $8000 Fred Ross Scholarship at the opening reception of summer exhibitions at Saint John Arts Centre.

Bickerton was highly recommended for the scholarship by Andrew Kierstead, Director of the centre’s James Venner Russell Portfolio Development Program. The jury took particular note of the great regard her teachers in this specialized program expressed for Ms. Bickerton’s work ethic and openness to experimentation.

Ms. Bickerton will enter a four year degree program in Fine Arts at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario.
