impressionnant dont le corpus d&#8217;\u0153uvres a \u00e9t\u00e9 remarqu\u00e9 au cours du processus de s\u00e9lection 2019. Biologiste charg\u00e9 de recherches et sp\u00e9cialiste en foresterie, M. Simpson s&#8217;est int\u00e9ress\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s aux traditions anciennes de vannerie de par le monde. Cette vaste perspective a fait \u00e9voluer sa vision artistique individuelle, tout \u00e0 fait originale.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation d\u2019un vaste \u00e9ventail de mat\u00e9riaux naturels lui a permis de cr\u00e9er des formes sculpturales tr\u00e8s textur\u00e9es qui refl\u00e8tent ses m\u00e9thodes innovantes d&#8217;investigation du monde naturel. M. Simpson se consacre essentiellement \u00e0 son \u0153uvre cr\u00e9ative et \u00e0 sa carri\u00e8re professionnelle. Son travail, d\u00e9crit par la pr\u00e9sentatrice Sara Brinkhurst et la curatrice Vicky Lentz, \u00ab \u00e9l\u00e8ve un art humain \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire au rang d&#8217;art captivant et stimulant \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>En plus de recevoir la bourse de 2000 $, M.
