The New Brunswick Art Bank is inviting submissions from New Brunswick visual artists for the 2011-2012 NB Acquisitions Program.

The Acquisitions Program of the NB Art Bank purchases contemporary works of art by New Brunswick visual artists for exhibitions and for display in government buildings.  Every two years, a jury of artists and art professionals selects artwork to be purchased.  Artists who are Canadian citizens or landed immigrants who have resided in New Brunswick for 12 consecutive months prior to the application deadline and who pay personal income taxes in New Brunswick are eligible to apply for the program.

Artwork must have been produced during the past two years (between January 2009 and December 2011) and must be suitable for display in government buildings.  The deadline to receive submissions is December 9, 2011.  Application forms and more information are available at: http://www2.gnb.ca/content/gnb/en/services/services_renderer.201085.html
