The Sheila Hugh Mackay Foundation, is a private foundation created in 1987 to promote excellence in visual arts and fine craft in New Brunswick. Originating from the founder’s early program of small seed grants to emerging artists, the Foundation now supports a wide range of awards, scholarships, annual facilitation grants and arts advocacy projects. At the time of her death in 2008, Ms Mackay endowed the foundation, creating a lasting legacy for the province of New Brunswick.
