Kashetsky portrait of Ella Hatheway unveiled

The Herzl Kashetsky portrait of Ella Hatheway unveiled at the newly dedicated Frank and Ella Hatheway Labour Exhibit Centre in Saint John.

Strathbutler artist, Herzl Kashetsky was commissioned by the Hatheway Trust to create a portrait of the leading social activist and philanthropist,Ella Hatheway (1853-1931)

The commemorative portrait was unveiled at a rededication ceremony of the Labour Exhibition centre on May 31st. Kashetsky who had previously painted W. Frank Hateway, used archival materials for this commemorative portrait. Both works can be viewed at the Frank and Ella Hatheway Labour Exhibit Centre, 55 Lake Drive, Rockwood Park, Saint John.
