Seok Joo Lee wins $8000 Sheila Hugh Mackay Foundation visual arts scholarship.
Seok Joo Lee, a recent graduate of St. Malachy’s High School in Saint John, has been selected by an independent jury of art professionals to receive the 2014 Fred Ross Scholarship. The scholarship will be presented at Saint John Arts Centre as part of the opening of the summer exhibitions on July 11th. Executive Director, Andrew Kierstead will congratulate the young artist, who is a recent graduate of the centre’s Portfolio Development Program. Lee will enter Fine Arts Program at Mount Allison University in September.
