Sheila Hugh Mackay Foundation To Announce Recipients of 2011 Special Grant Funding.
The Sheila Hugh Mackay Foundation joins the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in welcoming world renowed writer and cultural icon, Alberto Manguel who will deliver the 13th Annual Christina Sabat Memorial Lecture on April 3rd. 2011 at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.
Immediately prior to Manguel’s highly anticipated lecture “No Art is an Island, recipients of the Sheila Hugh Mackay Foundation’s new Special Project Funding Grants for 2011 will be announced. The Board of Director’s is pleased to be able to dedicate $70,000 in contributions to special initiatives in partnership with several New Brunswick visual arts organizations.
