Kathy Hooper
A major touring exhibition featuring the work of Strathbutler, artist Kathy Hooper will be presented in three major New Brunswick galleries during the 2023-24 season. This retrospective exhibition entitled “Mountains of Wonder and Tangles of Truth” opened with an overflowing crowd at Saint John Arts Centre on November 3rd. Curated by Amy Ash, it features representative pieces from the sustained career of respected Hampton based artist and social justice advocate, Kathy Hooper. In 2024, it will travel to the Andrew and Laura McCain Gallery in Florenceville-Bristol and then conclude at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.
