The Board of Directors is pleased to announce a $20,000 contribution to the Old Bathurst Post Office Preservation Project. This project seeks to a preserve the iconic, historic Old Bathurst Post Office building and transform it into a vibrant Arts and Culture Centre. SHMF salutes the vision and fund-raising efforts of the dynamic team of community volunteers in the initial infrastructure stage of this project. We are pleased to join the Dunn Foundation, the Rotary Club of Bathurst, The Kinsmen Club of Bathurst, the Richelieu Club of Bathurst, and Hatheway Motors in supporting the city of Bathurst’s vision to restore and renovate a beloved heritage building to create a multi-disciplinary cultural arts center to serve the northern regions of New Brunswick.
