Strathbutler artist Brigitte Clavette opens an exhibition of copper enameling in Nod to Helena at Gallery 78 in Fredericton.
This work emerged through her long support of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery and her recent residency in the Bruno Bobak. Inspired by Sutherland’s portrait of Helena Rubinstein in the gallery’s permanent collection, Clavette has designed new jewelry as a personal homage to the woman and the art.
