Through a variety of scholarships, bursaries, residencies and mentorship opportunities, SHMF is committed to assisting artists reach their creative potential at many stages of their career development.
The SHMF is proud to provide a fair and impartial adjudication process both for its awards and scholarship programs. Application details can be found on our Apply page. The Foundation reserves the right to refuse applications or nominations that do not meet the published criteria or submission deadlines.

With respect for the complex travel restrictions necessitated by the pandemic, SHMF will not offer an International Residency Scholarship until further notice.
The foundation cannot accept Career Development Program applications by email.
